Omarosa Manigault Newman is currently going on media platforms to shop her new book, Unhinged. In her book, Manigualt Newman recants her experience working in the White House as a Donald Trump aide. So far, the book has caused several officials to publicly respond to her allegations.

Trump has been relatively mute about these allegations, instead going on early morning tirades on Twitter, with one of his tweets calling her a dog. However, a new report from Vanity Fair claims that Trump now wants to see Manigualt Newman arrested over her published book. According to VF‘s commentator Gabriel Sherman, a source informed him that “Trump told advisers that he wants Attorney General Jeff Sessions to have Manigault Newman arrested” — even though it’s unclear what law Trump believes she broke.

A former Trump White House official said that Trump’s fury over Manigualt Newman’s book had set him down a “death spiral” similar to the one that engulfed his campaign in 2016 when he attacked a Gold Star father who was critical of Trump’s proposal to ban individuals from Muslim majority countries from entering the United States.

Manigualt Newman not only recorded her firing by John Kelly, but she also recorded parts of phone calls with Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner. One of the secret recordings was a call she received after she was fired. On the call, Ivanka and Kushner reportedly wished Manigualt Newman the best and claimed that they had no idea as to why she was fired. Trump was also allegedly surprised that she was let go by Kelly.

Politico states that this alleged tape could serve as proof that Ivanka and Kushner, who were adjunct senior advisers to the president, were not in positions of power that they thought they were in.
