Social Media Responds To President Obama’s Tweet On 9/11 In Comparison To Trump’s: “A Presidential Tweet From A Presidential President”

What a huge difference between the two.

Donald Trump kicked off his day to make the anniversary of the deadliest terrorist attack in history all about him as he took to his Twitter account to whine about his unfavorable poll numbers, CNN and MSNBC, China, tariffs, retweeted Fox News pundits, and screamed that the Federal Reserve should bring its “interest rates down to ZERO, or less” which is a jaw-droppingly stupid idea.

Trump targeted a new ABC News/Washington Post poll that was released Tuesday, showing Trump’s approval rating at 38 percent among Americans, with 56 percent disapproving of his performance in the White House. And of course, he mentioned “Crooked Hillary” and “Sleepy Joe” then threw out his “Pocahontas” slur for Sen. Elizabeth Warren.

In contrast, former President Barack Obama shared his 9/11 tribute on Twitter, “remembering those we lost on 9/11, we also remember the spirit of unity and togetherness that defined the weeks and months after.”

Twitter users were delighted to read a real leader’s tweet on this solemn occasion.

Americans needed to see President Obama’s unifying words instead of waking up to a septuagenarian’s massive hissy-fit on Twitter on a day meant to grieve for those who died on 9/11.

Conover Kennard
Conover makes tea partiers cry as a hobby. She was Commander of Jade Helm15 during the failed takeover of the South. She's also one of the biggest arseholes on Twitter. At night, she can be found drinking Conservative tears while pulling off the wings of flies just because she can. She is the founder of a Marxist, Commie, Maoist, Socialist site and has contributed to several other sites, blah blah blah. She is an awful person but she doesn't like to brag about that.
