The Trump Administration’s blocking of the free press has gotten to a level that Americans should be very worried about. While Donald Trump and his White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders have done away with regular press briefings and have even gone as far as to ban certain reporters from events, this avoidant attitude toward the media is something that is being carried about by every member in the administration and has resulted in a media blackout and Americans being kept in the dark.
What happened last night was perfect proof. CBS News correspondent Errol Barnett was on a flight with White House advisor Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump, and got a disturbing response when he tried to ask Kushner a question. Fortunately, Barnett was smart enough to record the incident on his phone so that Americans could see firsthand how even the most useless members of the Trump administration treats the press.
In the video below, you’ll see Barnett try to ask Kushner a question and couldn’t even finish before a Secret Service agent jumped in front of the camera and said, “I don’t give a damn who you are. There’s a time and place.” Barnett said:
Jared Kushner did not answer my question and the secret service informs me, while obscuring my phone, that despite identifying as WH press, there is a ‘time and a place’ for questions.
It is unclear when and where that is.”

A little while later, Barnett posted a statement from a Secret Service spokesperson which said:
The Secret Service is aware of the video posted on Twitter today by @errolbarnett. The circumstances surrounding the incident are under review. Pending receipt of additional facts, details and full circumstances surrounding the incident, appropriate action will be taken if necessary. No further comment will be made until the incident is able to be fully reviewed.”

Trump and his administration members still have yet to accept that they work for the American people, and we need answers.
