This is exactly what he deserved.

The Republican Party has really painted itself into a corner with its terrible leadership, horrific policies, and of course its unhinged president. With midterm elections right around the corner, GOPers would be foolish to feel confident right now especially when they’re regularly being confronted by angry constituents.

One of the most spineless Republicans of them all — Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell — just had an encounter with angry voters while dining at a Louisville Cuban restaurant last night. During the confrontation, which was caught on camera, another angry diner screamed at McConnell and said:

Why don’t you get out of here? Why don’t you leave the entire country?”

The woman who recorded the footage at the Havana Rumba restaurant told TMZ that before she had even started filming, “the main aggressor slammed his fists down on McConnell’s table, grabbed his doggie bag and threw the food out the door of the restaurant.”

The woman also stated that the angry voter mentioned McConnell’s position on Social Security and health care. McConnell and his wife, Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, ended up leaving the restaurant, but not before “some dispute” about the bill. McConnell reportedly spoke to the waiter and manager before leaving.

You can watch the insane footage from the incident below:

This is becoming more and more common for Republicans thanks to Donald Trump and the way the GOP is taking this country backwards. “Republican” has basically become a dirty word and conservatives are now experiencing the kind of harassment that they have tried to oppress minorities with. The midterm elections are already looking like they could be a hot mess for the GOP as a blue wave looks more likely than ever. However, despite how hopeless and pathetic Republicans look, we still need to aggressively remind everyone to vote so we can get these idiots out of power.
