Fox News Segment Melts Down After Eric Trump Says Anti-Semitic Slur During Live Interview

Gee, I wonder where Trump supporters get it from?

Eric Trump, the middle child and seemingly least-favored son of the President, appeared on Fox and Friends this morning to talk about upcoming strategies for the midterms. The hosts, asking their standard Republican-framed questions, led Eric inexorably toward his point, though he had some trouble making it: The Trump family doesn’t believe Democrats have a winning strategy in November.

But as he was lambasting Democrats and the various people taking aim at his father’s administration, he used a curious term that’s generally reserved for, well… Nazis.

Don’t you think people look through the fact that, you can write some sensational nonsense book, CNN will definitely have you on there because they love to trash the President, it’ll mean you sell three extra books, you make three extra shekels…”

Now, the vast majority of people would just go ahead and say “dollars” in this case — not that most people would limit what Woodward’s book will do to three of anything. But go ahead and take a look at the “Daily Stormer,” the internet’s central gathering place for anti-Semites, alt-Right types, and Nazis, and see what word they use for when people they don’t like make money.

The intent, of course, is to associate those who oppose the President with the stereotype of the “greedy Jew” who will do anything for money.

That wasn’t Eric’s only verbal faux pas, either. He apparently has no idea what the word “behest” means, either, using it three times in place of what can only be assumed to be “expense.”

…at the behest of the American people, at the behest of our country and a president doing a phenomenal job by every quantifiable metric.”

Trump visibly winced during the video, pausing as he realized he’d said “shekels” before going on to sound even more like an idiot.
